How to use it
Tap one of the twelve presets, or type any HEX value. The fullscreen stage updates immediately — no page reload.
Dim the colour for dark rooms, or shift it warm or cool to match the light around you. Both controls recompute the real hex value.
Copy the exact hex and RGB values for your design file, or export the colour as an image at up to 8K resolution.
Field notes
Most colour tools apply a translucent overlay to “dim” a screen, which quietly changes the colour. We do the maths instead: brightness scales the RGB channels and warmth blends the result toward a warm or cool reference white, so the value you copy is the value on screen.

Fill a screen with key green or blue to check how a camera, app or codec handles the edge of a key.
A phone propped against a wall becomes a soft coloured light for a room, a shelf or a video call.
FAQ
Turning any screen into a precise, single-colour light source: matched fill light for photography, green screen alternatives, chroma checks, mood lighting, product backgrounds, and colour reference on set.
Yes, and that is deliberate. Dimming multiplies the RGB channels, so the value you read and copy is exactly the colour the display is showing.
It blends the base colour toward a warm 3200K tone or a cool 6500K tone while keeping a flat, solid field. Useful when a saturated colour is too harsh at night.
The readout shows the exact sRGB hex and RGB triplet being painted. Keep brightness at 100% and warmth at neutral to export the untouched colour.
